JJ fair 080308

to put it short and simple, i enjoyed it. it was like other events, memorable and fun. it was an entire class effort and time.

to put it long,(am i going to rant on about the day's events?)
in the morning, when we reached school went to look at the game stall. we found some damages but some of them repaired it. we really used a lot of masking tape! haha. then went to food stall help out with some decorations and it was time for assembly. i wouldn't say an assembly. more like an opening ceremony. after all that was over, i went for my NE duty. finally everything was finalised and i know what to do. led some cluster schools (yckss and SNGS) to the stamp talk. was quite informative and worth listening. it was interesting. but the number that turned up was pretty little. about just nice i suppose. after that was the NE stairwell tour and so we led them and i did my presentation all that. really hoped i was heard because it was rather noisy. haha. but i think the third floor part was much better. haha. after which, i brought them to the hall for the stamps exhibition. they had to do a quiz there too. over there, i guess everyone was more interested in the hall performances. but anyway, they finished it. haha. then after that i was off duty.

first thing i did was to change out of formal attire into informal. lol. then saw my grandma and led her to my food stall. haha. she bought donuts and gave it to me. haha. then i met some aunt or what which i cannot even remember who she is. lol. then i left them to walk around. brought some friends to our game stall. but had to wait for one hour so in the end, they kindly donated that money and they left. >< sorry

after that Amanda and i went in to help out as scarers. lol. it really was dark inside the room with all the lights off and creepy music playing. i think if it was us playing we would have been scared too. to me the best part was the ball pit because it was like the highlight of it? haha. and something special i guess. but it was like destroyed over time. lol. actually the purpose of our game is to find balls which were labelled with numbers. the more they get, the more tokens they will receive. they can then use that to exchange for prizes. some of which were very attractive ones. x)

for awhile, we were under maintenance and break time. some people were getting impatient and kept hurrying us to be faster. then the people inside were like "masking tape masking tape masking tape" lol. then it carried on after about an hour or so i think..

around late afternoon Amanda and i decided to go play something. we wanted to use up our tickets. we decided for the circus gothic. haha. 4faith's one. we played with her sister and her cousin etc.. then Julia joined too. we had to wait too. i guess all good things are worth waiting for. haha. it was similar but we don't have to find balls. lol. when it was our turn and we went in of course the air con was the nice part. lol. then we had to find our way out. haha. also a maze. it was equally dark. and those people who were acting as scarers were pretty scary with their make up and all that. but it was okay. haha. but overall i think the nicest was the one with the white mask or something haha. and the torch. was quite cool. xD

we went back to help out more again. then we went to get some food. after eating decided to spend more tickets. then decided to play arcade. we went for the shooting one. we aren't very pro but we go for the fun we get! haha. after playing we still left some tickets. but we didn't bother anymore. ended up donating to our class too. we went back to assist in the last of the treasure mine then it was closed. nobody registered for lucky draw according to what they say. haha.

time for clearing up!
the process was funny.. it was 7 or 8 plus by then. we all went inside and started tearing down all the masking tapes. actually its all sorts of tapes. haha. then started pulling down all the garbage bags and untying the poles. it was a funny sight. the guys started playing taupok and all that. and some of them were wrapping themselves around garbage bags. then we were cutting all the ropes and taking down everything. when some of us went outside to tear down the stuff, then we realised what a disaster we have made inside. haha. but its actually because its messy. =D
then move the tables back to our homeroom where we originally took it from. arranged everything back to its shape. hehes.

started taking class photos like usual... xD then were dismissed..



i had a fun time. =D
