THANKYOU sun for the photos!

today marks a meaningful event on the calendar of all the graduating students of PHS. we have formally graduated from the school.

this school has been our support and learning centre for the past four years. how much we must have disliked the homeroom system, the long and sometimes boring devotion talks, but now, thinking back, they were okay. i agree that mrs tan's devotions are often inspirational. all the analogy she shared with us made sense. (=

apart from that is the canteen we often complained about. especially about the new vendors. but actually the food is okay. edible. im not that particular with food so i find it okay all the while. and for me, i like the economic rice.

besides that, are what we have gone through for four years. it is coming to a closure with the journey towards the o levels. in sec 1, we were innocent and didnt think much about the great world. perhaps we are slowly growing out of our childish ways. as we progressed to sec 2, we learnt to manage with pressure as we had to get ourselves into the combination we want in sec 3. during sec 3, it was the most fun times spent with the class. with the camps like pulau ubin, taman negara, they were all memorable. with the carnivals, these activities have strengthen 3 endurance as a class. during that time, many of us are struggling with the new load of subjects that we face. and i must say it was a neat challenge. (=

now we are in the final year. sec4. it was as memorable as sec 3. we also had JJfair in the beginning of the year and other activities which helped us to stay together as a class. i must say that 4endurance is special. special trait: being slow. i think choon keat said that because we experience Newton's first law of motion that is, an object at rest will remain at rest, or if it is moving, at constant speed, without a resultant force acting on it. so if we are sitting down, it is very difficult to get us up. haha! often picked upon by the DM for being the last to stand during assembly and being the last to arrived at lectures.. and even today's grad service........... (well, that isn't very nice. =x)

haha. anyway it seems like our class like to irritate some of our teachers who have tolerated us. although im hardly part of them! lol... but i do laugh a lot when the class cracks the joke!
especially ms pamelia goh... 'look at SOURCE A'... and mrs teo with her 'this one MUST REMEMBER..'... mr tan...'assume...'.. mr ong who always help us to relax.. with dont know how many (about 20?) rounds of running every PE lesson! lol.. mr ng who always taught us to be PUNCTUAL!.. mr chandra with his great bio facts... and 'tubule...' plus ms zhang.. by asking her a whole lot of questions about LORMS that i could see that she was going a little over the edge that day. lol...

all these seems to happen just yesterday..

after the graduation service, there was reception. then all were crazy taking photos! when we were at the parade square, i felt like we were animals inside the zoo being taken. lol. we seriously stood there for very long.. with a trail of cameras one after the next. thank you crystal for helping us to take them.

now for the most important thing,
i would like to thank all of my FRIENDS or anyone whom i have known even just by the looks; for making my secondary school life so meaningful with you guys around and i appreciate you for the gifts and notes. (=
plus 4Endurance for making my upper secondary school years memorable and filled with laughter and joy. =DD

someone once told me, it was ms seh actually, that 'you'll make the BEST friends in your secondary school life. those that will go through everything with you.'
i agree and thank all for being one beside me, and giving me a chance to be your friend too!

a sincere thanks from me! =)

all the best to all for the upcoming o levels! we will finish this race well!

SHE

yingjun

She's sixteen, born on the 24th day of june, and she has been through high school. Her last and maybe the most favourite years are spent in 3/4 Endurance in Presbyterian High School!
She was part of the guzheng ensemble too.

Currently in Anderson JC, 24/09.

Speaking of which, you may not know her well enough. She, like anybody and everybody else, wants to be appreciated and cared for. For further details, you may have to know her better. (x

One of her devilish craves i found out, is dark chocolate. She also loves her goddad and grandmother's cooking.

She is glad to have great friends like Amanda, Yeesin, and the ones in her clique - Wengsun, Rebecca, Jessica and Dew. Along with her friendly classmates who endured with her. =p Plus friends like Weilin, Jervis, Huiting and YOU!

She is not really the outgoing sort and hopes to cherish what she has in her life now, and not to take things for granted. (:
