back from my genting trip. on Christmas eve. haha. so i guess it will be a long post about it. with photos which i put at the 'plugboard' section. =D

my first time to genting!

it was really cold up at the peak. i love the coldness. felt like i was in japan. haha. but that would have been colder. haha.

i guess it was really fun. we went there by bus. haha. slept a little on the ride. was quite beat from waking up at 4am in the morning. haha. after catching some sleep then my elder sis and i couldn't get back to sleep. then we started crazy cam-whoring.. haha. took some silly pictures. lol. we were at the back seat so we kind of made a fool of ourselves i think. lol!

it took us 2 hours to check into the hotel room.. while waiting for it we went to walk around the mall. lots of shops with lots of generous discounts. but we didn't shop for anything there. that place is really cool because the indoor theme park is in that plaza. haha. the hotel lobby even looks like orchard road. the decorations are exquisite. filled with the Christmas spirit. haha. was quite excited.

in the evening we went to take the genting skyway. it's quite a long journey down and up. i was duped by the looks of the cabin. it looks so scary as we are going down from a peak till we reach below. but when we are actually in it, it felt okay. haha. was really nice. the sun was setting around that time and so we were enjoying some sunshine and breeze. enjoy. lol. i think more like warming us up!! LOL! crazy cam-whoring again. =pp

back to the hotel room quite early that night. was so tired. i thought i would not be able to fall asleep. instead, i fell asleep like a dead log. before i knew it, i could see vapour through the windows. it was morning. it feels really cool. nice feeling.

theme park the second day. =D honestly, i was really freaking out. lol. their theme park is really big!
took a mini horse ride first with my family.. haha. then some ride that you sit in a car and it takes you down winding paths. it was quite a fast way down but i enjoyed it. haha. then the monorail which was quite slow but at least we had a view of the entire place. haha.

my parents then took off with my small sis for the children rides while my elder sis and i were left to try the rides we wanted. haha. we tried flying dragon, some roller coaster ride. it felt rather thrilling but the worst have yet to come. haha. we thought it was pretty nice. then went for the swings. which go round and round till you are dizzy. haha. i don't like that ride.

then there's this bigger coaster ride. with winding paths and a 45 degree drop in the middle. was spooked. lol. but we queued for it anyway. haha. gosh. it really shocked me. initially i was thinking quite okay. then suddenly i felt my stomach lurch and we were plunging down. haha. really thrilled by that. however, that's not their highest roller coaster. they have an even more thrilling one that we didn't dare to try it. haha.

we spent hours queuing.. that's the thing that is the same as our country. the queue. haha. here queue there queue everywhere queue queue. lol. my sister sings, ' old MacDonald have a farm' LOL!... hmm.. even the toilet needs queuing. lol -.-

then we tried pirate ship. though smaller and slimmer than in escape theme park, it was faster i think. since young, i have always feared the big pirate ships. but in those theme parks, my sis and i always go for that and we can sit many times without feeling sick of it. then now i was facing that. i was probably spooked by the rides we've went for. lol. instead my sis was feeling more brave. lol. then you wouldn't want to know what we were talking about on top of the pirate ship. lol. i wanted my sis to engage in something to divert our attention. lol. in the end she was more spooked than me. lol. i think that was a worthwhile ride. really cool! haha.

there were screams and shouts everywhere. mainly it comes from the roller coaster, ship and the space shoot. it's a ride that brings you to many metres off the ground then plunges down without notice. somewhat like that. it's something i definitely won't try.

lol.. then we went for the indoor theme park rides. took all the 'monorail-type' rides. meaning they move around the mall in circles. one of it was on the river in a boat. pretty cool. but my sis was falling asleep in it! lol. then we went for the indoor roller coaster. lol. not bad lar. but the outdoor was more like WOW. haha. really *thrilled* by all the rides. scary... haha. but fun!

we ate ice cream too! haha.. interesting flavours like paddlepop lol.. felt cooling. lol.

then the next day we bus-ed back again. haha. long trip..my legs are sore from all that walking and standing.. =D
